Starting May 1, 2026, TCSA is no longer providing the Chaperone or Chaperone Refresher Course on this site.  TCSA is working in conjunction with Neurocounseling & Consulting Services, PPLC to continue to offer these courses on a different platform.  After working with hundreds of individuals seeking chaperone status,   TCSA and Neurocounseling have used our experiences and feedback (from participants and referral sources) to develop a process to train potential chaperones within a platform which is user-friendly and personalized while ensuring core information is consistent.  Materials have been updated and enhanced to reflect the changing world of technology as well as current methods of treatment and supervision.  Although, the reviews located on this current TCSA page will provide an idea of the level of customer service and person-centered approach we take.  That has not change.

 

The course continues to be web-based and facilitated by a licensed sex offender treatment provider.  The course will include several modules which are online and self-paced.  After completing the self-paced materials, you will participate in a web-based live session with a licensed provider at which time:  key topics will be summarized; chaperone contract/agreement will be explained, and you we will provide with other support for the course as you require.  Upon registering, you will also be provided with a full electronic chaperone workbook for your use.
