Description
PROOF OF ENROLLMENT: A cognitive skills course designed to allow participants the opportunity to challenge thinking and behavior which have caused harm to themselves and others. Evidenced based curriculum is used to address a full range of participant’s risk and needs. Although, the course is designed specifically for participants whose behavior has caused involvement in the legal system, the curriculum can be helpful in facilitating change in all individuals. The on-line course is divided into 8 modules and is presented in the form of slides and Learning Links for additional material and illustrations. To progress through the course, participants will complete individualized worksheets and a quiz at the end of each lesson.
The Level Three Cognitive Skills course includes all content of Level One and has even more interaction and instruction by an Online Course Facilitator than Level Two. The Level Three Course is locked after the completion of every lesson and will be unlocked to allow for continued progress after the Online Course Facilitator makes contact with the participant to confirm a full understanding of content. This is accomplished via phone conversation, e-mail, or video chat. Once all lessons are completed, an exit session is conducted by an Online Course Facilitator at which time a final confirmation of understanding and application of content is confirmed. Once complete, the participant will be given access to their Certificate of Completion. This program is self-paced with an average completion time of 3 to 4 weeks.
